AnoHana Helmer, Designer Reunite on Ano Natsu de Matteru

The January 2012 issue of Gakken's Megami Magazine is announcing on Wednesday that director Tatsuyuki Nagai and character designer Masayoshi Tanaka are reuniting to work on the Ano Natsu de Matteru television anime series. The two had previously worked together in the same roles on Toradora! and Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Boku-tachi wa Mada Shiranai.
Ano Natsu de Matteru features another reunion: Onegai Teacher/Onegai Twins story creator Yousuke Kuroda and Onegai franchise's original character designer Taraku Uon are also collaborating on the project. The adolescent romantic comedy will run from January to March of next year.
The cast is as follows:
- Haruka Tomatsu as Ichika Takatsuki
- Nobunaga Shimazaki as Kaito Kirishima
- Hideki Ogihara as Tetsurō Ishigaki
- Kana Asumi as Mio Kitahara
- Kaori Ishihara as Kanna Tanigawa
- Rina Hidaka as Rinon
- Yukari Tamura as Remon Yamano
Ray is performing the opening theme song composed by Shinji Orito and written by KOTOKO, while Nagi Yanagi is performing the ending theme song composed by Tomoyuki Nakazawa and written by Nagi Yanagi.
