Evangelion 2.22 Screening at Anime Societies Regional Social Event, January 28, Nottingham

posted on by Andrew Osmond
Screening will be in HD on projection screen, unconfirmed if sub or dub.

The Anime Societies Regional Social event, to take place on Saturday 28 January in Nottingham, has announced it will hold a screening of Evangelion: 2.22 You Can (Not) Advance, in HD on a projection screen, with the permission of Manga UK. (As of writing, it is unconfirmed if the screening will be dubbed or subbed.)

The twelve-hour NAMSoc event, running from noon to midnight, has an information page here. The event was created exclusively for members of anime and manga clubs.

According to the event page, 'If you are part of an anime or manga club local to the Midlands area, chances are your club has been invited, so please contact your club's committee for information on payment, and how to attend. If your club has not been invited, please email us at [email protected]' The page also says there are only 80 places remaining.

The venue is Fellows, Morton & Clayton at 54 Canal Street in Nottingham town centre (map), near Nottingham's main train station. The price is £5.

As well as the Evangelion 2.22 screening (provisionally scheduled for 9 p.m.), the event will include a gaming tournament, a pub quiz, an "Open Mic" session and a prize draw.

Thanks to NAMSoc (the Nottingham Anime and Manga Society) for the news tip.
