Promo for Episode 0 of Horror Anime 'Another' Streamed

The Japanese conglomerate Kadokawa began streaming a 17-second promotional video for the "episode 0" original anime DVD of the anime series Another on Friday. The DVD will be bundled with the "0th" limited-edition volume of Hiro Kiyohara's manga adaptation of Yukito Ayatsuji's original another horror novel.
The bundled anime episode will not be aired and is not part of the television anime series that premiered in January. The all-new episode will depict the story of the character Mei Misaki leading up to the main anime series. Kadokawa will release the manga volume and 25-minute anime episode on May 26.
The Another television anime series is being directed by Tsutomu Mizushima (Blood-C, xxxHOLiC) at the studio P.A. Works. Ryō Higaki (Moribito - Guardian of the Spirit) is in charge of the scripts, and Yuriko Ishii (Persona -trinity soul-) is adapting the original character designs by Noizi Ito (Haruhi Suzumiya, Shakugan no Shana) for animation. Kô Ôtani (Shakugan no Shana, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Hakuōki) is composing the music, and Yoshikazu Iwanami is directing the sound at the production company Lantis. Kiyohara's manga has been running in Kadokawa Shoten's Young Ace magazine since 2010. Crunchyroll is currently streaming the series as it airs in various countries outside of Japan.
