SoulCalibur V Game Tournament at Hampstead on Saturday

posted on by Andrew Osmond
UK and EU tournament on March 17.

Namco Bandai has announced UK and EU tournaments of the game Soulcalibur V, which will both be held in Hampstead on Saturday March 17. The top prize for the U.K. tournament includes entrance to the EU finals, £500, a trophy and a Madcatz stick.

The tournament is open to players who are 16 and over. Anyone interested in entering should fill the form on the tournament website. However this does not guarantee entry to the competition, with places being given on a first-come first-served basis.

The venue is St Stephen's Rosslyn Hill, Pond Street, Hampstead, London, near Belsize Park underground station (map). Doors will open at 12 noon for the U.K. tournament, followed by registration until 1.30 p.m., with the tournament beginning at 2 p.m. The EU tournament, which is only open to winners of U.K. and national rounds, will follow at 4 p.m.

The event is open to spectators, and there will be on-the-spot prizes and freebies, plus casual play, free refreshments, a DJ, and live performances.

Rules and live streams will be available on the tournament site.
