Bandai Sells 10 Billion+ Carddass Cards

Carddass, Bandai's line of collectible cards sold through vending machines, has sold over 10 billion cards as of this March. The series began in 1988 by being sold through "Carddass 20" vending machines that offered one card for 20 yen. Many popular anime series have been featured on Carddass cards, such as Dragon Ball, Gundam, and Neon Genesis Evangelion. The Battle Spirits collectible card game is also sold through Carddass vending machines.
