XSeed to Release Way of the Samurai 4 Game in N. America

The U.S. PlayStation Blog announced on Wednesday that XSEED Games will release the Way of the Samurai 4 game for the PlayStation 3 console. The video game developer Acquire and the video game publisher Spike originally released the game in Japan in March 2011. XSEED Games noted it will release the game uncut and uncensored as a digital download on the PlayStation Network. XSEED did not announce a release date for the title.
The "sandbox-style samurai period drama" game takes place at a fictional port town in Japan in the mid-19th century. The player controls a masterless samurai who can align himself either with the foreigners trying to open Japan to the rest of the world, a Japanese resistance force called the "Disciples of Prajna," or with the local government trying to stop the violence between the two parties.
