Hyouka 'Episode 11.5' to Be Streamed Before BD Release

Kyoto Animation announced on Friday that it will premiere "Episode 11.5" of the Hyou-ka anime online on July 8 at midnight. The stream will be on the Kotenbu channel on the Ustream website.
Honobu Yonezawa's original Hyou-ka novel follows an unassertive boy named Hōtarō (played by Yūichi Nakamura) who was ordered by his older sister to join the classic literature club (kotenbu). In the all-new original episode "motsu Beki Mono wa," Eru (Satomi Satou), Mayaka (Ai Kayano), and the other kotenbu members run around the municipal pool.
As the episode number implies, the story is set between episode 11 and 12. Yasuhiro Takemoto, the director of the Hyou-ka television anime, is basing his script for this episode on a plot by author Honobu Yonezawa. Rika Ōta is storyboarding and directing this episode with animation director Yukiko Horiguchi.
Publisher Kadokawa Shoten will include the same episode on a original anime Blu-ray Disc that will be bundled with the limited edition of Taskohna's third Hyou-ka manga volume on January 13, 2013.
