W-Juliet's Emura Launches Idea no Hana Shōjo Manga

Hakusensha's Betsuhana mag to publish new 'exotic fantasy' series

The website for Hakusensha's Bessatsu Hana to Yume magazine revealed on Friday that Emura (W-Juliet, Kyō mo Ashita mo) will launch the Idea no Hana 'exotic fantasy' shōjo manga in the magazine's August issue on June 25.

Viz Media published all 14 volumes of Emura's W-Juliet in North America. Emura is also drawing a W-Juliet II sequel in Hakusensha's irregularly published Za Hana to Yume (The Hana to Yume) spinoff magazine.

Emura had ended her Kyō mo Ashita mo (Today and Tomorrow Too) shōjo manga in Hakusensha's Hana to Yume magazine last September after launching the manga in 2008.

The August issue of the magazine will also launch the first chapter in Ritsu Miyako's (Psychic Detective Yakumo: Akai Hitomi wa Shitteiru) Uso Toki Rhetoric manga.

The June issue of Bessatsu Hana to Yume, which shipped on April 26, started Shigeru Takao's (Dear Mine, Golden Days) new manga Madame Petit. CMX Manga published Takao's Teru Teru × Shōnen Shōjo manga in North America. The company released seven of 11 volumes of the manga before it shut down in 2010. Takao had ended the Issho ni Neyō yo (Let's Sleep Together) manga in November.
