Aniplex USA Confirms Release of Fate/Zero 2 BD Boxset

The anime production company Aniplex of America confirmed at its panel at Fanime Con on Saturday that it will release the Fate/Zero 2 television anime series on Blu-ray Disc in North America. Similarly to the release of the first television anime series, the release will be an import of the Japanese Blu-ray Disc box set and will include a translation booklet. Aniplex will release the boxset on September 9. Pre-orders for the set will start on June 1.
Aniplex released the first boxset, which contained the first 13 episodes of the series, on March 7, the same day it was released in Japan. That set included English subtitles and an English translation booklet for the included Japanese production material booklet. The set also contained unaired footage from the series. Other extras contained in the set include the series' first original soundtrack and a drama CD written by original novel author Gen Urobuchi.
