Dakara Boku-ha, H ga Dekinai Manga to Bundle Unaired Anime

posted on by Egan Loo
Original "So, I Can't Play H!" episode ships on BD with 4th manga volume next March

The fourth compiled book volume of Shō Okagiri's Dakara Boku-ha, H ga Dekinai. manga will ship early next March with a Blu-ray Disc containing an original anime episode. The original episode will be one that will not air during the upcoming television anime series.

Both the manga and the anime adapt Pan Tachibana's erotic comedy light novels of the same name. A young man named Ryōsuke (played by Hiro Shimono) struggles to regain his "erotic spirit," which he lost by making a contract with a beautiful Goddess of Death named Risara (Aya Endō). Ryōsuke cannot enjoy himself while the two live together; because of his contract, he can no longer become excited by watching girls — causing him to wonder if his adolescent days are over.

The television anime version will premiere in Japan on Friday. Crunchyroll will stream the television series (under the name So, I Can't Play H!) into several countries as it airs, and Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime for North America.

Update: The television anime will be available on six monthly Blu-ray Disc and DVD volumes, beginning on September 26. The first limited-edition volume will bundle a text story by Tachibana, an exclusive "Ore-sama 'Invisible Dictionary'" booklet with manga by Okagiri, a set of two postcards with illustrations from the anime's ending sequence, promotional videos, and the credit-less opening animation sequence.
