Hyouka 'Episode 11.5' Video Anime's Ad Streamed (Updated)

The official website for the Hyou-ka television anime series began streaming a commercial for the anime's "Episode 11.5" on Thursday. Like the television anime, the ad features the theme song "Yasashisa no Riyuu by Chouchou.
Honobu Yonezawa's original Hyou-ka novel follows an unassertive boy named Hōtarō (played by Yūichi Nakamura) who was ordered by his older sister to join the classic literature club (kotenbu). In the all-new original episode "Motsu Beki Mono wa," Eru (Satomi Satou), Mayaka (Ai Kayano), and the other kotenbu members run around the municipal swimming pool.
As the episode number implies, the story is set between episode 11 and 12. Yasuhiro Takemoto, the director of the Hyou-ka television anime, based his script for this episode on a plot by Yonezawa. Rika Ōta storyboarded and directed this episode with animation director Yukiko Horiguchi.
The episode will premiere on the official Kotenbu Ustream stream on Sunday at midnight (Saturday at 11:00 a.m. EDT). Kadokawa Shoten will then include the same episode on an original anime Blu-ray Disc that will be bundled with the limited edition of Taskohna's third Hyou-ka manga volume on January 13, 2013.
