Dance in the Vampire Bund Manga to End in Japan

Nozomu Tamaki's horror action series ending in September after inspiring TV anime

The September issue of Media Factory's Monthly Comic Flapper magazine is announcing on Saturday that Nozomu Tamaki is ending his Dance in the Vampire Bund horror action manga in the next issue on September 5. The story follows the intrigue surrounding Mina Tepes, the princess of vampires who creates a special district for her kind off the coast of Japan. The next Monthly Comic Flapper issue will feature Dance in the Vampire Bund on the cover, and the manga's final chapter will have a color opening page.

Tamaki launched the manga in Monthly Comic Flapper in 2005, and Media Factory published the 13th book volume in March. Seven Seas Entertainment will publish the 13th volume in October, and the 14th English-language volume is already tentatively listed for release on May 14, 2013.

A television anime adaptation premiered in 2010, and Funimation released the anime in North America. The original manga also inspired a spinoff manga series call Dive in the Vampire Bund, and Seven Seas is publishing that in North America as well.
