Scotland Loves Anime Edinburgh Guests Announced and Tickets Released

New Berserk film's designer and producer confirmed as guests.

Tickets for the forthcoming Scotland Loves Anime event in Edinburgh are now available on the Edinburgh Filmhouse website. Additionally, two guests are confirmed for the event, both linked to the new Berserk films: producer Fuko Noda and character designer Naoyuki Onda. Onda has numerous anime credits in design and animation, ranging from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack to Ergo Proxy.

There will be one screening each on the evenings of 15-17 October, with most of the screenings taking places on 19-21 October. In addition to the titles already confirmed, there will be a programme of anime shorts, including Production I.G's film Tokyo Marble Chocolate (on October 16); and a screening of the Studio Ghibli period drama, From Up On Poppy Hill (2011) on October 17.

See below for dates, times and booking links. For tickets bought at the same time, the following discounts apply: 15% off for three or more tickets; 25% off for six or more tickets; and 35% off for nine or more tickets.

Monday 15 October

8.15 p.m. - Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney

Tuesday 16 October

8.45 p.m - Anime Shorts - a 90-minute programme, including the two-part Production I.G film Tokyo Marble Chocolate.

Wednesday 17 October

8.30 pm - From Up on Poppy Hill

Friday 19 October

6 p.m. After School Midnighters. The screening will be introduced by Jonathan Clements, co-author of the Anime Encyclopedia.

8.30 p.m. - Berserk: The Golden Age Arc - The Egg of the King. The screening will be introduced by producer Fuko Noda and character designer, Naoyuki Onda, and followed by a Q&A.

Saturday 20 October

1 p.m. - Berserk: The Golden Age Arc II - The Battle for Doldrey. Like the first Berserk film above, the screening will be introduced by producer Fuko Noda and character designer, Naoyuki Onda, and followed by a Q&A.

6 p.m. - Nerawareta Gakuen. This is the world premiere of the new film from the Sunrise Studio about a student battle involving paranormal powers. Introduced by Joanathan Clements.

8.30 p.m. - Blood-C The Last Dark Introduced by Jonathan Clements.

Sunday 21 October

3.30 p.m. - Ninja Scroll. Introduced by Jonathan Clements.

6 p.m - Anime Mirai Project

8.40 p.m. - The Wolf Children Ame and Yuki Introduced by Jonathan Clements.
