MAICon on this weekend in Launceston, Tasmania.

MAICon is run by the same team who runs Anime Island Convention (AICon) in Hobart and they will be travelling north to run MAICon for the second time.
The con will be held in the Sir Raymond Ferrall Centre & Faculty of Arts at the Launceston Campus of the University of Tasmania. Doors will open from 10am until 6pm and entry is $10 at the door. AICon specialises in running gameshow based events with crowd appeal so highlights include;
- 10:30am - Tentacles and Mechs
- 01:30pm - Cosplay Competition in the Faculty of Arts Theatre.
- 03:00pm - Who Wants To Be A Pocky Millionaire in the Sir Raymond Ferrall Centre.
- 04:00pm - Cosplay Mystery Date in the Sir Raymond Ferrall Centre.
