posted on by Egan Loo
Decade-long collaboration heard on Chobits, .hack, Gunbuster 2, Aria, Welcome to the NHK, One Off, more

The members of the musical unit Round Table featuring Nino officially announced on Friday that they are going on hiatus, after a decade of collaboration. The group simultaneously announced Single Best 2002-2012 Memories album, which will ship on November 28.

Katsutoshi Kitagawa and Rieko Itō had been working together as Round Table beforehand, but the current lineup came together in 2002 when guest vocalist Nino began collaborating with them. The trio's first single was the opening theme song "Let Me Be With You" for Chobits, and their most recent anime theme songs were for One Off. The track list of Single Best 2002-2012 Memories reflects how many anime theme songs the group has created:

01. Let Me Be With You (Chobits opening theme)
02. New World (.hack//Legend of the Twilight opening theme)
03. Sunny Side Hill (Mujin Wakusei Survive ending theme)
04. Groovin' Magic (Gunbuster 2 opening theme)
05. Rainbow (Aria the Animation ending theme)
06. Natsumachi (Aria the Natural ending theme)
07. Puzzle (Welcome to the NHK opening theme)
08. Oh! Yeah!! -New Year's Mix- (CLAMP IN WONDERLAND 2 ending theme)
09. Koi o Shiteru (Webtama 3 ending theme)
10. Symphony (Aria the Animation insert song, self-cover)
11. Nagareboshi (Yozakura Quartet ending theme)
12. Himawari (Tamayura - Hitotose insert song, self-cover)
13. Yakusoku no Basho (One Off opening theme)
14. Memories (One Off ending theme)

The limited first pressing of the album will include a DVD with the "New World" music video, the making-of video from the 2009 live concert at Tokyo's Daikanyama Unit venue, and a collection of commercials.
