Sentai Filmworks Adds Hidamari Sketch × Honeycomb TV Anime

North American anime licensing company Sentai Filmworks announced on Friday that it has licensed the fourth Hidamari Sketch television series, Hidamari Sketch × Honeycomb. Sentai Filmworks will make the series available digitally soon, with a home video release to follow in 2013.
The series follows art student Yuno and her friends as they live together in the Hidamari Apartment Complex.
The series will premiere on October 4 on TBS and BS-TBS stations. For the first time, six of the voice actresses (instead of just four) perform the new opening theme song "Open Canvas": Yuno (as voiced by Kana Asumi), Miyako (Kaori Mizuhashi), Hiro (Yuko Goto), Sae (Ryoko Shintani), Nazuna (Chiaki Omigawa), and Nori (Hitomi Harada). Music duo marble is returning to perform the series' ending theme "Yume ni Kaku Jibun."
Akiyuki Shinbo is again returning to direct the series and Yuki Yase is acting as series director. Miku Ooshima and Nahoko Hasegawa are both also returning to handle the screenplay.
Sentai Filmworks previously licensed the first three television anime series and specials.
