Radio show broadcasting station latest to receive threat letter, liquid substance

Approximately 10 different places connected with the Kuroko's Basketball manga or anime or the manga's creator Tadatoshi Fujimaki have now received threat letters with attached powder or liquid substances this month.

Nippon Cultural Broadcasting, Inc. was the latest place to receive a threatening note and an attached container with a liquid substance on Monday. The broadcaster is currently airing a Kuroko's Basketball radio show both on the radio and online featuring voice cast members Kenshō Ono and Yūki Ono. The note threatened that if the company did not stop broadcasting the program, the sender would cause harm to the company.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department are looking into identifying the substance. The police currently suspect that all the threats are the work of one person.

Earlier this month, Fujimaki's alma mater Toyama High School in Tokyo's Shibuya ward and Sophia University received threat letters. In addition, a publisher in Tokyo's Suginami ward and a Kuroko's Basketball dōjinshi event at Tokyo Big Sight also received threats this month.
