New Finnish company also publishing The Tale of Löwe, Gentle Kisses on Your Body digitally in English

The Finnish digital manga distributor Amimaru announced on Wednesday that it has launched the first chapter of Yoshino Koyoka's (Aria the Scarlet Ammo) Yami Kyun! magical girl manga in English via its Facebook app.

The company describes the manga as follows:

Haruki Kobayashi, a boy working in the electronics store of his family, becomes affiliated with Miya after accidentally witnessing her at work. She and her two colleagues end up moving to Haruki's home as part-timers to keep an eye on him. Gradually Haruki starts to learn about the painful loss that made Miya want to obtain power.

Koyoka launched the manga in Nihonbungeisha's Sakura Hearts magazine last year, and the series is currently running in the publisher's Comic Heaven magazine. Nihonbungeisha published the series' first volume in August.

Koyoka previously launched her manga adaptation of Chūgaku Akamatsu's Aria the Scarlet Ammo light novel series in Media Factory's Comic Alive magazine in 2009. Media Factory published the sixth compiled volume in May.

Amimaru launched the app in May, and the company is also publishing the Gentle Kisses on Your Body boys-love anthology manga, Daisuke Tazawa and Tarahi Rakuji's The Tale of Löwe manga based on the The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky video game, and Shuho Sato's Give My Regards to Black Jack (Say Hello to Black Jack) manga in English. The company also publishes the Falcom Magazine through its app, but the magazine is in Japanese.

The app allows users to preview a few pages from each chapter for free, and then each chapter can be purchased with Facebook credits, although Give My Regards to Black Jack is available for free. All manga published on Amimaru are available to users worldwide, and the company plans to also eventually make the manga available on mobile phones.
