Sailor Moon Ranks as #7 Graphic Novel in U.S. Bookstores in October

The eighth volume of Naoko Takeuchi's Sailor Moon manga ranked at #7 on Nielsen BookScan's list of top 20 graphic novels in American bookstores for October. Kodansha Comics had released the volume on October 30.
Other manga top-sellers include Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto volume 58 at #10, Tite Kubo's Bleach volume 48 at #11 and volume 49 at #15, Yana Toboso's Black Butler volume 11 at #13, Sailor Moon volume 7 at #16, and Nozomu Tamaki's Dance in the Vampire Bund volume 13 at #19. Sailor Moon volume 7 and Naruto volume 58 had ranked at #1 and #2 on September's list.
Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead Compendium Two topped October's graphic novel list.
The BookScan rankings represent sales at Barnes & Noble and other book chains, independent bookshops, and online purchases — but not sales at comic book stores, Walmart, and some other venues.
In comic book stores, graphic novel sales were up 53.9% compared to sales in October 2011.
