Viz Media released 1st film in trilogy on BD/DVD on Tuesday
North American anime publisher Viz Media began streaming a 32-second commercial on Tuesday for the Berserk: The Golden Age Arc - The Egg of the King film. Viz Media released the film on Blu-ray Disc and DVD on Tuesday.
Berserk: The Golden Age Arc - The Egg of the King is the first of three films in Studio 4°C's theatrical adaptation of Kentarou Miura's Berserk manga.
The film previously premiered on Viz Media's Neon Alley service last month. The film won a Silver Award in the Oregon Film Awards' Animated Film Competition category earlier this month.
The second film in the series opened in Japan on June 23, and the third film will open in Japan on February 1, 2013.
