Japan's Animation DVD Ranking, January 21-27

The limited Hero Kyōkai Nintei Kanzen-ban edition of 8-Ranger, KANJANI 8's sentai homage film, sold 49,318 copies to top the overall DVD chart. The standard edition debuted at #3 with 9,347 copies. The standard edition of the manga-based live-action film Brave Hearts Umizaru slipped from #1 to #2 in its second week. It sold 13,244 copies to add to its total of 46,323, while the premium edition fell from #2 to #11. It sold 3,550 more copies for a new total of 21,722.
Kamen Rider Fourze the Movie Minna de Uchū Kitaa! sold 2,940 more standard-edition copies for a new total of 4,895. It rose from #16 to #13 in its second week. The Collector's Pack dropped one spot to #21, and added 1,979 copies to its total of 3,658. The live-action film adaptation of the Rurouni Kenshin manga also sold 2,162 standard-edition copies for a new total of 34,866. It dropped from #10 to #18 in its fifth week.
