Sadako 3D's N. American Release Slated for June 4

North American distributor Well Go USA has confirmed with ANN that it will release the live-action Sadako 3D film on home video with English subtitles. The film will be available on Blu-ray Disc and in 3D for US$29.98, and on DVD for US$24.98. Both versions will ship on June 4.
Sadako 3D, which premiered in Japan last May, is the third film in the Ring (Ringu) series. In the films, Sadako is the vengeful ghost of the daughter of a famous psychic. She is connected to a cursed video tape featuring a collection of disturbing images; those who watch the tape are killed one week later.
Koji Suzuki, the author of the original novel series that inspired the franchise, wrote a new original story for the film. Another sequel is slated to be released in Japan this summer.
