1st Toriko Feature Film's Teaser Trailer Streamed

The official website for the upcoming Gekijō-ban Toriko Bishokushin no Special Menu film updated with a teaser trailer on Friday.
The ongoing television series follows title character Toriko, a "bishokuya" (gourmet food provider) who travels the world to hunt down the strange animals and plants needed for the finest cuisine dishes. The movie will deal with Acacia the Bishokushin ("Gourmet God") and the secret special menu that lies dormant on a fabled island. Funimation has been streaming the series as it airs in Japan since its premiere last year and will release the third DVD set on March 19.
Gekijō-ban Toriko Bishokushin no Special Menu will open in Japanese theaters on July 27. The manga already inspired Toriko 3D: Kaimaku Gourmet Adventure!!, a 3D animated film short that opened with the One Piece 3D: Mugiwara Chase film in 2011.
