Funimation to Stream Karneval TV Anime

North American anime distributor Funimation announced on Thursday that it will stream the television anime adaptation of Touya Mikanagi's Karneval manga. Funimation will stream the series on Mondays starting on April 8 at 1:35 p.m. EDT.
Funimation is currently streaming an English-subtitled promotional video for the series.
The original manga follows Nai, a mysterious young boy who knows nothing other than his name and Karoku. With nothing but Karoku's bracelet from "Circus" to go on, Nai set out in search of Karoku when he was rescued from trouble by Gareki!. When Gareki! demands the bracelet in exchange for his help, Nai begins to travel with him and joins the National Defense Agency, “Circus” after getting involved with them and a freight train high-jacking. Nai will learn many new things as works together with various people. Gareki! too will find the doors opening to worlds he never knew of before.
Eiji Suganuma (Kodomo no Jikan, Mashiroiro Symphony - The color of lovers, Ninja Cadets, Sasameki Koto) is directing the series at Manglobe (Deadman Wonderland, Hayate the Combat Butler: Can't Take My Eyes Off You, Mashiroiro Symphony - The color of lovers, Ergo Proxy) and Touko Machida (THE IDOLM@STER, Lucky Star, Amnesia) is handling the scripts. Toshie Kawamura (Yes! Precure 5, Smile Precure!, Mashiroiro Symphony - The color of lovers) is serving as the character designer and chief animation director for the series. GRANRODEO is performing the opening theme song "Henai no Rondo."
The television series premiered in Japan on Wednesday.
Funimation noted that it will have more simulcasts to announce soon.
