Love comedy about unemployed woman in her 30s launches in Monthly You magazine

The May issue of Shueisha's Monthly You magazine began serialization on Monday on Lovely Complex (Love*Com) creator Aya Nakahara's new manga series Dame na Watashi ni Koishite Kudasai (Please Love the Useless Me). The love comedy revolves around an unemployed woman named Michiko who is around 30 years old. Michiko has just broken up with a younger boyfriend whom she supported financially until she drained all of her savings. Michiko then has a chance meeting with a former boss she used to dislike.

Viz Media published the Love*Com manga's 17 volumes in North America, and Viz Pictures released the manga's live-action film adaptation on DVD. Discotek Media is also releasing the 2007 television anime series adaptation in North America in July.

Nakahara began her last manga series, Junjō Drop, in 2011, and Shueisha released the one-compiled volume in April 2012. Before that, Nakamura launched the Berry Dynamite, in Bessatsu Margaret in 2009, and that series ran until 2010.
