Perfect Blue Film Gets Blu-ray in UK

British distributor Anime Limited announced that it will release Satoshi Kon's Perfect Blue film on Blu-ray Disc and DVD. Amazon lists a limited-edition Blu-ray combo pack and a DVD edition on October 14. Anime Limited reports it will offer a standard edition after the initial collector's release. The film has yet to receive a Blu-ray Disc release in North America.
Anime Limited is also releasing Cowboy Bebop on two Blu-ray box sets on July 29 and September 23 and Makoto Shinkai's The Place Promised in Our Early Days/Voices of a Distant Star twin pack on October 14. The company is working on a British theatrical release of Kenji Kamiyama's 009 RE:CYBORG film.
