The organizers of FanimeCon have announced that the four-member Japanese pop band 7!! (pronounced seven-oops) will perform at the May 24-27 convention in San Jose, California. The band's appearance at FanimeCon will mark their first performance in the United States. 7!! will perform at the convention on May 25.

7!!'s debut single "Fallin Love" was used as the theme song for the live-action film adaptation of Kazune Kawahara's High School Debut manga. The band has also performed the opening theme song "Lovers" and the ending theme song "Sayonara Memory" for Naruto Shippūden, and the opening theme song "Bye Bye" for Kimi to Boku (You and Me.).

FanimeCon is also hosting director Takahiro Ōmori, producer Yumi Satō, voice actor Chris Patton, and author Gilles Poitras. The event will be held at the San Jose Convention Center.
