Otome's Way Announces Boys-Love Japanese Textbook, Manga Anthology

The Japanese promotional and management company Otome's Way announced on Friday that it has released the A Fujoshi's Guide to Japanese 1 book and will release the Otome's Way Anthology 1 book later this month. The company released its first three titles online on May 2.
Ai Yusura and Yumiko Akeba's A Fujoshi's Guide to Japanese 1 (pictured right) textbook uses boys-love scenarios and themes to teach beginning Japanese. The full-color e-book is the first in a series and features flash animation and sound clips to enhance the learning experience. The book is now available through the Otome's Way online store for US$20, and it will be released in Apple's iBook Store for US$29.99 on May 20.
Otome's Way Anthology 1 e-book will feature three short stories: Hiyoko Utsunomiya's school-life drama, "I Give Up," and Momo Touen's explicit stories "Canary" and "My Heart Returns to You." The anthology will be available on the Otome's Way online store on May 15 in English or Japanese for US$5 each or in a bilingual set for US$7.
The company will also release Yusura's Rensou historical explicit manga in Apple's iBook Store on May 20. The manga will be available in Japanese or English for US$10, with a bilingual set available for US$17. The manga is also now available digitally through the Otome's Way online store. Yusurai Ai's Anthology 1 (pictured left) is also now available digitally on the company's online store in Japanese, English, and bilingual versions. The Japanese and English versions each cost US$5 and the bilingual version costs US$7. Sample pages of each manga are available on the company's website.
Otome's Way confirmed in February that it planned to release new boys-love and yaoi manga titles in English. The company told ANN it plans to release manga in print in the future, which can be shipped worldwide.
