Funimation Announces Maken-ki! Dub Cast, Streams Trailer

Ian Sinclair, Monica Rial lead cast for battling schoolgirls anime shipping November 12
North American anime distributor Funimation announced the English dub cast and staff for the Maken-Ki! (Maken-Ki! Battling Venus) television anime series on Friday, and began streaming an English-dubbed trailer.
The cast is as follows:
Takeru - Ian Sinclair
Haruko - Monica Rial
Himegami - Chloe Ragnbone
Inaho - Tia Ballard
Furan - Brittney Karbowski
Kengo - Scott Freeman
Yuka - Jamie Marchi
Azuki - Morgan Garrett

Kimi - Alexis Tipton
minori - Caitlin Glass

The series is slated to ship on a Blu-ray and DVD combo pack on November 12.
Funimation and the video-streaming service Niconico had streamed the series as it aired in Japan in 2011, and Funimation added the home entertainment, broadcast, pay per view, and merchandise rights to the anime series last year.
Hiromitsu Takeda's original Maken-Ki! manga centers around Takeru Ōyama, a boy enrolled in an elite school where the girls (and boys) fight with mysterious items called Maken. The student body includes the enigmatic girl Kodama Himegami, a girl named Inaho who calls herself Takeru's fiancée, and his childhood friend Haruko.
