Hanabee Announces Kokoro Connect for December

Kokoro Connect anime to be released on DVD and Blu-Ray in December by Australian anime distributor.

The announcement was made on Hanabee's youtube channel and distributed via their facebook page.

Kokoro Connect

Kokoro Connect follows five friends, Taichi (Takahiro Mizushima), Iori (Aki Toyosaki), Himeko (Miyuki Sawashiro), Yui (Hisako Kanemoto) and Yoshifumi (Takuma Terashima) who are members of the Cultural Research Club. However one evening the club members discover that they have swapped bodies. Thinking the phenomenon is just a dream, they suddenly find themselves exchanged with each-other again and soon find that they are at the mercy of a mysterious presence known as the Heartseed. What follows is the Cultural Research Club discovering that the Heartseed's phenomenon will put their friendship and their very identities to the test!

Based on the light novel series of the same name by Sadanatsu Anda and artist Shiromizakana (otherwise known as Yukiko Horiguchi the character designer for Lucky Star and K-ON!). The 10 volume light novel series was originally published by Enterbrain between 2010 and 2013 and the series has also created a manga adaptation. The original 13 episode anime adaptation was broadcast from July 2012 and produced by SILVER LINK The series was directed by Shin Oonuma (ef: a tale of memories, Dusk maiden of Amnesia) with series composition by Fumihiko Shimo (Air, CLANNAD) and character designs by Toshifumi Akai (Sound of the Sky, Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic). The series was followed by a 4 episode OVA in December 2012. Kokoro Connect has been licensed and released by Sentai Filmworks in the United States.

Hanabee will be releasing Kokoro Connect on Blu-ray and DVD in two parts with the original 13 episode series to be released on the 4th of December with the 4 part OVA to be released as part 2 on the 22nd of January 2014. Both releases will contain the English dub and Japanese sub.
