Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 Game's Opening Streamed

Nao performs game's opening theme "Miracle! Portable☆Mission"

The official website for the Chō Jijigen Game Neptune Re;Birth 1 (Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1) remake began streaming the game's opening movie on Friday. The video features nao's opening theme song "Miracle! Portable☆Mission."

The game remakes Compile Heart's original 2010 role-playing game Chō Jigen Game Neptune (Hyperdimension Neptunia). The game will feature the "unit turn" battle system. In battle, players can move characters around the battlefield during a turn. Depending on weapons and skills, attack range will vary making a character's position important for battle success.

Afilia Saga is performing the game's ending theme song "Mirai Botan" (Future Button).

The role-playing game will ship for the PlayStation Vita in Japan on October 31. The regular version will cost 6,090 yen (about US$61), while the limited edition will cost 8,190 yen (US$82), and the downloadable version will cost 5,300 yen (US$53). The limited-edition version will bundle the "Bōken de Maru Maru Sarechau CD" drama CD and a Neptunia rubber strap. People who pre-order the game will also receive the "Megumi-tachi ga Soine Shitekurechau CD" drama CD.

Compile Heart released the Kamijigen Idol Neptune PP (Ultradimension Idol Neptune PP) game for the PlayStation Vita on June 20. A release date for Chō Megami Shinkō Noire Gekishin Black Heart game for the PlayStation Vita remains undecided. The company is also working on Re;Birth 2, the tentatively titled PS Vita remake of Chōjigen Game Neptune mk2 (Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2), and a brand new Neptunia work.

NIS America released the Hyperdimension Neptunia and Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 games in North America, and it released Kami Jigen Game Neptune V as Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory in March. The first game anthropomorphizes the game console wars as female role-playing game characters.
