Studio Colorido posted a theatrical preview video for Takashi Nakamura's (Fantastic Children, Catnapped! The Movie) Shashinkan and Hiroyasu Ishida's ("Fumiko's Confession") Hinata no Aoshigure anime projects on Friday. Both anime will screen on October 13 at the Cine Libre theater in Ikebukuro. Nakamura and Ishida are working with Studio Colorido and Mode Films Inc. on the two new projects.

Nakamura is both writing and directing Shashinkan. The rest of the staff for the project is as follows:

The story takes place before World War II. At the top of a hill is the protagonist, who runs a photo studio that his family has run for generations. One day a married couple visits the studio. The wife is a shy woman who keeps facing her head down, but by various means the photographer is able to get her to smile for the camera. A year later, the couple come back with their stern-faced daughter. The photographer then tries desperately to get the young girl to smile.

The Hinata no Aoshigure "cute love story" follows fourth-year elementary student Hinata (played by rookie voice actress Anju Inami) as he tries to convey his feelings to his popular classmate Shigure (Saori Hayami).

Ishida is writing and directing the anime. Other staff members are as follows:

Additionally, Spitz is providing the anime's soundtrack song "Fushigi."

Ishida is a former animation student who created a worldwide online hit with his "Fumiko's Confession" ("Fumiko no Kokuhaku") anime short. Ishida studied in the Animation department at Kyoto Seika University's famed Faculty of Manga. After "Fumiko's Confession," Ishida worked for at least two years with fellow student Shogo Yoshida on the "rain town" anime short as his graduation project. "Rain town" eventually won the grand prize in the 9th Independent Animation Festival (Indies Anime Festa) at Mitaka, Japan in 2011, marking the second year in a row that Ishida won the grand prize; he won in 2010 for "Fumiko's Confession." "Rain town" also won the Excellence Award, STUDIO4℃ Award, and the Ghibli Museum Award at the 7th Kichijoji Animation Film Festival in 2011.

Nakamura is credited as the original creator, director, scriptwriter, and character designer for the Fantastic Children television anime series. He also directed and wrote the original story and screenplay for the A Tree of Palme film, and created, directed, and wrote Catnapped! The Movie.
