Code Geass: Akito's 2nd BD/DVD Slated for December 25

The official website for the Code Geass: Akito the Exiled anime project announced on Wednesday that the second installment will ship on Blu-ray and DVD on December 25, after being delayed from this fall. The Blu-ray and DVD editions will have the teaser and full trailers, promotional videos, commercials, and a jacket by chief animation director Shuichi Shimamura. The regular-edition Blu-ray adds English and Japanese subtitles, while the limited-edition Blu-ray (pictured right) adds a booklet of original sketches by CLAMP, 24-page liner notes, a collection of ending illustration cards, a picture drama, audio commentaries by staff and cast, and a case with an exclusive illustration by character designer Takahiro Kimura.
The third installment, "Kagayaku-mono no Ten Yori Otsu" (The Brightness Falls), is scheduled to open in Japanese theaters next spring.
