Adaptation of Morohe Yoshida's romantic comedy manga to premiere in January 2014

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Morohe Yoshida's romantic comedy manga Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha. revealed on Sunday that voice actress and singer Maaya Sakamoto will perform the anime's ending theme song "Saved." Yohko Suzuki (Bunny Drop opening song) is writing the lyrics and composing the song, and Ryūji Yamamoto is arranging the song. The anime will premiere in January 2014.

Tōru Takahashi (Orphen: The Revenge) is directing the series with assistant director Hideki Okamoto (director of Battle Girls - Time Paradox, D.C. II: Da Capo II). Touko Machida (Karneval, Amnesia, The Everyday Tales of a Cat God) is in charge of the series scripts, and Yuka Takashina (The Ambition of Oda Nobuna, Venus to Mamoru, D.C.S.S. ~Da Capo Second Season~) is serving as character designer and chief animation director. Takeshi Senoo (Aria the Animation, Himawari!) is scoring the soundtrack. Production IMS, a studio that was just established in February, is animating the series after assisting on Fantasista Doll, Haganai, Date A Live, and Oreimo 2.

The story revolves around Inari Fushimi, a shy, not-so-bright middle school girl living in Kyoto's Fushimi ward. She has a crush on her classmate Tanbabashi, but cannot express her feelings. One day, as thanks for helping a fox pup, the deity Ukanomitamanokami grants her the ability to change her form.

Yoshida launched the manga in Kadokawa Shoten's Young Ace magazine in 2010, and the sixth compiled volume shipped in July.
