Schoolgirl Survival Game Manga C3-Bu Ends in December

Manga adapted into 13-episode anime series earlier this year

The December issue of Kodansha's Monthly Young Magazine announced on Wednesday it will publish the final chapter of Ikoma and Tomomoka Midori's Tokurei Sochi Dantai Stella Jo-Gakuin Kōtō-ka C3-Bu (Special Measures Unit: Stella Girls' Academy High School's C3 Club) manga in the magazine's January issue on December 11.

This series of manga shorts centers around high school girls ("who look super good in mini-skirts") playing survival games with airsoft and BB guns.

Yura Yamato has just arrived at the high school division of Stella Girl's Academy, and Sonora Kashima invites Yura to join a club called "C3." Sonora is the third-year student who became the new head of this club for survival games. The other members include two second-year students (part-Japanese Karira Hatsuse and G36K-wielding Honoka Mutsu) and two other new students (Rento Kirishima whose family runs a Japanese sweets shop and the really short Yachiyo Hinata).

Midori has been drawing Ikoma's story in Monthly Young Magazine since May 2012, and Kodansha published the second compiled book volume in June. The series inspired a 13-episode anime series that premiered in July. Sentai Filmworks announced at Anime Expo that it licensed the anime and will release it on home video in 2014. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired.
