posted on by Jon Hayward
Madman Entertainment have announced the following titles at their Madman panel for Australia and New Zealand;

The announcement was made on Sunday morning the 17th of November 2013, you can view the announcement on Madman's Facebook page.

We, Without Wings

It's winter in Yanagihara and young people will meet and fall in love. In particular three people, Takashi who plans to escape to an alternate world, Shuusuke, a poor part-time worker who has to work with someone he dislikes and handyman Hayato who is visited by a girl named Naru.

The anime is an adaptation of the adult visual novel "Ore-tachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai - Under the Innocent Sky", the fifth visual novel by NAVEL (Shuffle! Soul Link). Shinji Ushiro (Blessing of the Campanella, Omamori Himari, Strait Jacket) directed the anime at studio Nomad and Takamitsu Kouno (Ayakashi, Kyo no Gononi, Lamune) supervised the scripts. Kumi Ishii (Ichigo 100%, Kure-nai, Rozen Maiden) adapted the software's original character designs by Aoi Nishimata (Final Approach, Lovedol ~Lovely Idol~, Shuffle!) and oversaw the animation process. The Japanese voice cast is the same cast as the drama CD.

The anime originally ran for 12 episodes from April 2011 and was not only simulcast by Crunchyroll but has since been released on Blu-ray and DVD with an English dub by Funimation in North America.

Madman will release We, Without Wings at some point in 2014. The exact form of the release is currently unknown and we do not now if Madman will include the bonus OVA episode. We will update with further information at a later stage.

Fairy Tail the Movie: Phoenix Priestess

The film revolves around a mysterious girl named Éclair who appears before Fairy Tail, the world's most notorious wizard's guild. She lost all of her memories, except for the imperative that she must deliver two Hōōseki (Phoenix Stones) somewhere. The stones may spell the collapse of the magical world, and Natsu, Lucy, and the rest of the Fairy Tail guild are caught up in the intrigue.

Fairy Tail manga creator Hiro Mashima was in charge of story planning and visual design for the film's all-new plot, and he also drafted the guest character designs and image concept art. Masaya Fujimori (You Are Umasou) directed the film, while Masashi Sogo (Fairy Tail, Bleach, Rurouni Kenshin) wrote the screenplay.

The film opened in Japan on the 18th of August 2012, Funimation licensed the title for North America and has produced a trailer for the English dub that you can view here.

Madman will release Fairy Tail the Movie: Phoenix Priestess in March 2014. No details as to how the title will be released have been revealed.

One Piece: Strong World

This film (the 10th in the series) was originally released to Japanese theatres in December 2009. The production was personally oversaw by Eiichiro Oda who also wrote the original story and created a large amount of the film's initial designs. Munehisa Sakai (One Piece anime series director) directed the film at Toei Animation from a script by Hirohiko Uesaka (One Piece) with art direction by Takeshi Waki (Un-Go, Samurai Champloo) and animation direction by Masayuki Satō (Air Gear) who also was responsible for adapting the film's character designs.
