Sue's dress offered as free DLC; Keitaro Arima draws alternate "what-if" story

Game developer Aquire released the fourth batch of downloadable content (DLC) for its Akiba's Trip 2 game on Tuesday. In addition, Keitaro Arima (Tsukuyomi: Moon Phase) is drawing an exclusive special "what-if" manga for the game.

The new DLC includes:

Little sister swimsuit set for 500 yen (about US$5)

Genshiken: Second Season character Sue's one-piece dress costume set (free)

Arima's manga will reveal an alternate story for Akiba's Trip 2.

The 4Gamer website posted more pictures of the DLC and manga, and more of the manga will be revealed in the future.

In the sequel to the 2011 vampire-hunting action game Akiba Trip, the protagonist once again faces demons and vampires in Tokyo's Akihabara (Akiba) district. The only way to defeat the vampires is to strip their clothing and expose them to the sunlight. The game shipped for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita on November 7.

Shimoku Kio's sequel manga Genshiken: Second Season inspired the anime of the same name this past summer. Naomi Ōzora plays the diehard American anime fan Susanna "Sue" Hopkins in the anime. Kodansha Comics publishes the manga in North America. NIS America licensed the anime, and Crunchyroll streamed it as it aired in Japan.
