Naruto is #2 Graphic Novel in U.S. Bookstores in November

posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins

The 63rd volume of Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto manga ranked at #2 on Nielsen BookScan's list of top 20 graphic novel sales in November. Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead volume 19 topped the chart.

Naruto volume 63 was one of eight manga volumes on the top 20 chart. Three volumes of Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan manga ranked: volume 1 at #8, volume 2 at #18, and volume 8 at #20. Masahiro Hikokubo and Masashi Sato's Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's volume 5 ranked at #5, Naoko Takeuchi's Sailor Moon Short Stories volume 2 ranked at #10, Matsuri Hino's Vampire Knight volume 17 ranked at #14, and Kiyohiko Azuma's Yotsuba&! volume 12 ranked at #15.

Additionally, James Patterson and Narae Lee's Maximum Ride volume 7 ranked at #12.

In October, Attack on Titan volume 1 topped the chart, and volume 2 ranked at #9.

The BookScan rankings represent sales at Barnes & Noble and other book chains, independent bookshops, and online purchases — but not sales at comic book stores, Walmart, and some other venues.
