Yaoi Artist Est Em to Attend Toronto Comic Arts Festival

The Toronto Comic Arts Festival announced in December that it will host yaoi manga creator est em at its 2014 event on May 10-11.
Several of est em's works have been published in English. SuBLime, the boys-love imprint of the North American manga publisher Viz Media, most recently published Tableau Numéro 20 in October. Aurora Publishing previously released est em's Seduce Me After the Show and Red Blinds the Foolish in English. Net Comics licensed and released Age Called Blue, and JManga released the titles Working Kentauros and Apartments of Calle Feliz.
est em is currently serializing Golondrina, a manga about a female bullfighter, in Shogakukan's Ikki magazine, and IPPO, about bespoke shoemaking, in Shueisha's Jump X magazine.
The festival hosted Taiyo Matsumoto (Tekkonkinkreet, Sunny) and Gengoroh Tagame (The Passion of Gengoroh Tagame: Bara Master) earlier this year, Chi's Sweet Home author Kanata Konami in 2012, and in 2011 the festival hosted manga creators Usamaru Furuya (Lychee Light Club, Genkaku Picasso) and Natsume Ono (Ristorante Paradiso, House of Five Leaves, Not Simple).
