Ghibli's The Wind Rises Music Sold in iTunes in N. America

Composer Joe Hisaishi's The Wind Rises soundtrack became available for download in the United States and Canada via iTunes on Tuesday. The soundtrack has 31 tracks and retails for US$9.99.
Studio Ghibli reported earlier this month that "more Studio Ghibli music coming soon to iTunes Stores around the world."
The North American iTunes Store currently carries a variety of instrumental and artist covers of Studio Ghibli music, as well as the soundtrack for the Ghibli-animated Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch game and other works by frequent Ghibli collaborator Hisaishi.
Hisaishi's score for the film was on The Academy's shortlist for an Oscar nomination but it was passed over. The Wind Rises is nominated in the Animated Film category.
