Acquire's dungeon-crawler offered digitally & in retail in N. America, digitally in Europe

Aksys Games confirmed on Thursday that it will release the dungeon-crawler role-playing game Mind Zero for PlayStation Vita this spring, via digital and retail channels in North America and digitally in Europe.

Aksys describes the "dark stylish role-playing game" from Acquire:

Play as Kei, a high school student whose life turns upside down when he forms a contract with a “Mind,” a weapon/being with deadly powers. With the government and other forces trailing him and his friends, Kei will need to discover the secret behind “Mind.” Will these newfound powers help him or ultimately be his doom?

Control Your “Mind” – As you and the rest of your party battle enemies, use your “Mind” to do your bidding – unleashing powerful attacks and defending yourself from harm. Master skills and become even more powerful.

Dungeon Crawling Action – Once you enter a dungeon, you will face a treacherous maze of monsters, all ready to devour you. Make sure to prepare yourself before you step inside!

Discover Your “Mind” – Each “Mind” has unique abilities; however, delving deeper into the mystery, you learn the dangers of these powerful “monsters.” Are these “Minds” a blessing...or a curse?

In Japan, the game stars Tomokazu Sugita as the game's protagonist, Kei Takanashi. Additional cast include Rina Satou as Sana Chikage, Yūichi Nakamura as Leo Asahina, Takehito Koyasu as Yoichi Ogata, Minori Chihara as Kotone Shiragiku, and Yuuki Kaji as Kanade Sakyo. Zizz Studio (Hatenkou Yuugi, Tales of Symphonia the Animation) provided the music for the game, while novelist Minato Kushimachi wrote the game's scenario under supervision by Zerodiv. Artist kyo designed the characters, and the theme song "Hōsō Machine MIND≒0 Ver." was contributed by yucat.

Acquire released the game under the title MIND≒0 in Japan on August 1, 2013.
