Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi Film's 1st Trailer Streamed

Yui Horie, Takashi Kondō, Katsuyuki Konishi, more join cast for March 15 film

The official website for the Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi: Yokozawa Takafumi no Baai anime film began streaming the first full trailer for the film on Friday. The trailer features the theme song, “Yasashii Kiseki” (Gentle Miracle) by Shuhei Kita.

Takafumi Yokozawa (voiced by Kenyuu Horiuchi) starts the trailer by saying, "My First Love that won't come true. I knew that from the beginning." The video's text reads, "A man who was heartbroken by his best friend he always loved... A man who was an "inseparable work partner" and was harsh on himself and others." Later on in the video, Yokozawa thinks to himself, "Why do I get so defensive when the conversation comes to him?"

Chiaki Kon (Junjō Romantica, Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi television anime) is directing the film at Studio DEEN. Tohru Furuya (under the alias Noboru Sōgetsu) will play Zen Kirishima, and Kenyuu Horiuchi will reprise his role as Takafumi Yokozawa.

The website also unveiled the remaining cast for the film:

The film will play with a new "Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi ~Valentine-hen~" anime short. The short will tell a brand-new story about how four couples (including Masamune Takano/Ritsu Onodera and Zen Kirishima/Takafumi Yokozawa) spent Valentine's Day.

Nakamura's original Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi ~Onodera Ritsu no Baai~ manga follows the tension between a newly recruited manga editor named by Ritsu Onodera (voiced by Takashi Kondō on television) and his tyrannical editor-in-chief Masamune Takano (Katsuyuki Konishi) — who happen to share a common past. The manga has over 9 million copies in circulation. Fujisaki and Nakamura's Yokozawa Takafumi no Baai light novel series centers around Takafumi, a worker at the Marukawa publishing company with his own shared college past with Takano. He had helped bring Takano into Marukawa.

The film is scheduled to open on March 15, 2014. A pair of advance tickets comes with an exclusive "Valentine-Hen ~Prologue~" comic by Shungiku Nakamura and an exclusive "Yokozawa Takafumi no Baai ~Halloween-Hen~" text story by Miyako Fujisaki, while a single advance ticket will come with clear file. Those who attend the film will receive a “Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi Special Book.”
