Kannagi Spinoff & Engaged to the Unidentified Have Crossover 1-Shot Manga

Kanpachi's Pachi appears with Engaged to the Unidentified characters

This year's April issue of Ichijinsha's Monthly Comic Rex, which shipped on Thursday, contained a crossover manga between the Kannagi spinoff manga Kanpachi and Chery Arai's Mikakunin de Shinkōkei (Engaged to the Unidentified). Kanpachi is the official parody spinoff of Eri Takenashi's Kannagi magical comedy manga, as drawn by Takenashi's own brother Shinichi Yuhki. Yuhki drew the collaboration comic, which is titled "Mikanpachi de Shinkōkei." In the comic, Kanpachi's Pachi appears with the characters from Engaged to the Unidentified.

Kanpachi previously had a crossover with Namori's Yuruyuri.

Mikakunin de Shinkōkei (literally, "Unconfirmed & In-Progress") is a four-panel comedy manga serialized in Ichijinsha's Manga 4-Koma Palette about Kobeni Yonomori, who on her 16th birthday suddenly has a young man with little presence named Hakuya Mitsumine and his little sister Mashiro appear in front of her. It turns out that Hakuya is her fiancé, and Mashiro is her future sister-in-law. The three (and Konbeni's big sister Benio) start living together underneath the same roof, and hilarious happenings occur. The anime adaptation has been licensed by Sentai Filmworks and is streaming on Crunchyroll.

Bandai Entertainment released both the beginning of the Kannagi: Crazy Shrine Maidens manga and its anime adaptation. ALC Publishing announced in 2012 that it will release the original Yuruyuri manga digitally through the now defunct service JManga. Crunchyroll streamed the second Yuruyuri anime season outside Japan as it did for the first season.
