Funimation describes the story:
Shy 15-year-old Izumiko Suzuhara has trouble fitting in. After her childhood acquaintance, the handsome but prickly Miyuki Sagara, suddenly reappears and enrolls in her school, Izumiko learns that she is the last vessel of the goddess Himegami, and Miyuki is forced to serve as her guardian. Although the two of fail to get along at the beginning, their meeting marks the beginning of a shift in Izumiko's destiny.

Toshiya Shinohara (Black Butler, Inuyasha films, The Book of Bantorra) directed this Spring 2013 adaptation of Noriko Ogiwara's novels, and Michiko Yokote (Bleach, Gintama, Princess Tutu) handled the scripts. Minako Shiba (Black Butler, .hack franchise, Noir, Letter Bee) adapted Mel Kishida's original character designs. Musicians myu and Masumi Itou (Bungaku Shōjo) scored the soundtrack.

Funimation will release the series on DVD on June 17.

The company also announced that it will release A Certain Scientific Railgun S and Ben-To on home video.

A Certain Scientific Railgun S will be released in two sets this summer. Funimation streamed A Certain Scientific Railgun S, the sequel to the popular series A Certain Scientific Railgun, last April in the United States. The sequel series followed the Sisters arc from the source material. The Japanese Blu-ray release will include an exclusive brand-new anime titled Daiji na Koto wa Zenbu Sentō ni Osowatta (All the Important Things I Learned in a Bathhouse).

Funimation began streaming the "school serious/gag action" Ben-To anime series last month.

Every day an epic struggle rages in grocery stores across Japan—the battle for half-priced bento boxes! Once the discount stickers go on, ravenous brawlers start throwing punches in a knockdown, drag-out war over who gets to take home the cheap eats. When a young, broke high school student named Sato joins the Half-Priced Food Lovers Club, he proves to be a rising talent in the world of insane food fights. But does he have what it takes to become the king of clearance cuisine? From the director of Black Cat comes a very different type of hunger games. Welcome to the world of Ben-To, where chopsticks are lethal weapons, the supermarket is a battleground, and there's nothing more delicious than a deep-fried win.

Shin Itagaki (Devil May Cry, Mayoi Neko Overrun!) directed the 2011 anime, and he was also responsible for story editing (with Kazuyuki Fudeyasu of Bleach, Monster and Gunslinger Girl) and design works. Katsuzo Hirata (Cosplay Complex, Hand Maid May) served as both the character designer and the chief animation director. Taku Iwasaki (Black Butler, Gurren Lagann, Soul Eater) composed the music.

The company also confirmed that Space Dandy will get a second season. The season will also air on Adult Swim in July.
