Crunchyroll announced on Wednesday that it will stream the anime of Nippon Ichi Software and Broccoli's female-oriented dating simulation game Kamigami no Asobi ~Ludere deorum~. The first episode will air for members on Saturday, April 5 at 10:00 a.m. PDT, and will be available free next week. The series will be available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Netherlands, Scandinavia, Turkey, Latin America, France and DOM/TOM, Belgium, Switzerland, Andorra, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Romania, the Middle East and the Arab League.

Tomoyuki Kawamura (Good Luck Girl chief director) will direct the series at animation studio Brains Base (Blood Lad, Penguindrum, Natsume's Book of Friends). Tomoko Konparu (Sunday Without God, UtaPri, Kimi ni Todoke - From Me to You) will write the scripts and Minako Shiba (RDG Red Data Girl, Tegami Bachi: Letter Bee) will design the characters. Elements Garden is providing the music.

The original "Weaving of fates - Love is pain" adventure game for the PSP system was released in Japan last year. The story revolves around heroine Yui Kusanagi, who is ordered by Zeus (Houchu Ohtsuka), a god and the headmaster of a school he created, to teach the meaning of love to young and handsome gods. The reason he has for doing this is to cancel the negative effects of the weakening bond between the world of the divine and the world of the humans.
