Wanimagazine Launches English Manga Anthology on iBooks, Moe Android App

Magazine to include works from Shin Nagasawa, Hitori, Yūsuke Kozaki, VOfan, Shihou, Atsushi Suzumi and Takamichi

The Japanese publisher Wanimagazine released a promotional video on Monday for for Wani-Bites, an English manga magazine for iBooks. The first volume is available for download for free in the iTunes Store.

The company describes Wani-Bites:

Bringing together some of the best talent in Asia, Wani-Bites is a collection of manga translated into English for iBooks. With Manga from many of Japan's cult illustrators and manga artists. There are also features showcasing artists' their development work and their working methods. Issue 01 contains the work of Shin Nagasawa, Hitori, Yūsuke Kozaki, VOfan, Shihou, Atsushi Suzumi and Takamichi.

Wanimagazine also released an English instruction video for its "Talking Girls 2" Android app on Monday. The video teaches users how to access the English version of the app.

The app features voice actress Yukina Fujimori as a character designed by Hisasi. The character reacts in different ways depending how users touch the screen.

Wanimagazine publishes the bishōjo manga anthology magazine Hime, which replaced its quarterly "leading-edge bishōjo" comic magazine Gelatin in 2011. The anthology is published every quarter with a different theme for each issue.
