Love Live Music Releases Top 1 Million

The official Twitter account for the Love Live! franchise announced on Wednesday that its music releases have topped one million copies. The "Sore wa Bokutachi no Kiseki" (That Is Our Miracle) CD single was also released on Wednesday.

In 2010, the anime studio Sunrise, Lantis, and ASCII Media Works' Dengeki G Magazine launched Love Live! as a self-described "ultimate user-participation project" which lets its fans vote on the future of the fictional idols. A series of music CDs and animated music videos then followed. The media service Crunchyroll is streaming the second anime series as it airs in Japan. NIS America licensed both series.
