Kyoto Animation's Amagi Brilliant Park Slated to Air This Fall

posted on by Egan Loo

The official website for Kyoto Animation's anime of Shoji Gatoh's Amagi Brilliant Park light novel series announced on Friday that the television series will premiere this fall. It also posted a new anime key visual with the tagline "Welcome to Ama-Buri!":

The "slapstick drama" begins with Seiya Kanie, a high school boy who is invited on a date in an amusement park by a mysterious beautiful transfer student named Isuzu Sento. He is introduced to Ratifa, a "real" princess and the park's manager, and is asked to be the acting manager of this "disappointing amusement park in the Tokyo suburbs."

Gatoh (Full Metal Panic!) started the series with illustrations by Yuka Nakajima (Listen to Me, Girls. I Am Your Father!/Papa Kiki!) last year, and Fantasia Bunko published the third volume in January. Yasuhiro Takemoto (Full Metal Panic!, Lucky Star, Hyōka) is directing the anime.

Kimitake Yoshioka (Lagrange - The Flower of Rin-ne manga) launched a manga adaptation in the March issue of Kadokawa's Dragon Age magazine in February.
