Yoshimasa Hosoya Joins Free! -Eternal Summer- TV Anime's Cast as Sōsuke

The official website for Kyoto Animation's Free! -Eternal Summer TV anime updated on Saturday, and revealed the new character that had previously been hinted in this week's promotional video.
Yoshimasa Hosoya (Katanagatari's Shichika, One Week Friends' Shōgo) will play Sosuke Yamazaki, one of Rin's best friends from elementary school who understands him well. He has a strong personality, and never gets irritated by anything. He takes a dry and harsh position on swimming toward himself and those around him.
The website now has a new splash image with the tagline, "That summer, will surely become eternal."
The second season of the Free! anime will premiere on Japanese television in July.
Kyoto Animation announced that a second season was in production at a Free! talk event in January. The first season ended with a “see you next summer” message in the final episode.
The first anime premiered last July, and Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan.
