Pokken Fighters, Pokken Tournament Trademarks Filed in Europe

The Pokémon Company filed to register trademarks for Pokken Fighters and Pokken Tournament in Europe on Thursday.

Last August, the company filed trademarks for the same names in the United States. The trademarks were filed for use with video games, Near field communication (NFC) technology-enabled devices including keychains, board games, game cards, action figures, trading card games, and "entertainment services, namely, production, presentation, distribution and syndication of animation, motion picture films and television programs."

A new Pokémon title was teased at the Pokémon Game Show with a brief image (shown above) last August. A relation to the game and the recent trademark filings was not confirmed by The Pokémon Company.
